Brooke Hovey

,
Chief Revenue Officer

Brooke Hovey built her career as a strategist, innovator, and growth leader for professional service firms for more than two decades. Her greatest passion is creating value for clients and, in doing so, driving growth for the firms she serves. How? By asking better questions, trying new approaches, and refusing to accept “the way it’s always been done.”

Brooke started in the early days of digital strategy at GCI Group (part of Grey Advertising), built the global client excellence program at Cohn & Wolfe (WPP), and went on to play key P&L leadership, growth and innovation roles at BCW (WPP) and, later, Burson (WPP) – one of the industry’s most iconic global agencies. Along the way, she played an instrumental role in three major mergers, shaping the agency's integrated culture, value proposition and go-to-market strategy for competitive advantage.

Throughout her career, Brooke worked with public/private entities in nearly every sector and led teams around the world. What set her apart wasn’t a single specialty, but her strategic rigor and ability to move comfortably between the needs of clients and the workings of large service firms – understanding how both sides think, where they get stuck, and how to get to better outcomes together.

Innovation has been the steady through-line: from the first waves of social media to today’s advances in AI, she has always been drawn to new ideas, new tools, and new ways of working that make the work better. She believes marketing should be energizing, collaborative, and focused on helping clients win – not weighed down by complexity or old playbooks.

This core belief led her to co-found Jetson (a company that deploys Fractional Chief AI Leaders into mid-market companies) and CrisisCommand (an AI-driven crisis operating system). And most recently, this led her to join KUNGFU.AI as Chief Revenue Officer to accelerate their next chapter of growth. KUNGFU.AI is a management consultancy with deep engineering capability, focused exclusively on AI since 2017.

In 2021, Brooke was named to PRWeek’s “Hall of Femme,” an exclusive list of the top female talent within the industry, and, in 2009, PRWeek named Brooke to its annual “40 Under 40” list. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in corporate communications with minors in business and Spanish.
